Big Yellow is also expected to publish its half-year report as it presses ahead with its development ambitions and embarks on an intensive period of construction. The move comes as the firm is set to catch up on an improvement in demand on the market coupled with continued growth in average rent.

Tuesday

Mothercare will publish its interims following a tough start to the year as its sales have continued to tick down. Over the past year, the company has reduced the number of stores to 457 from 506 the year before.

Wednesday

Cambridge City Council’s planning committee will consider the third and final phase of Hill Group’s Marleigh development. Two applications, comprising 332 and 91 homes alongside commercial space, have been recommended for approval.

Knowsley Council’s cabinet will decide on the next steps of the Huyton Village Centre transformation. Councillors will be asked to agree on the demolition of numerous council buildings and an initial investment of £3.6m to progress the masterplan.

Thursday

Grainger will report its final results, which are expected to show rental growth dipping but still remain above the long-term average. Last month, the firm reported its occupancy levels at 97.4%

First Property Group will update shareholders on its half-year performance, having recently secured a number of one-off financial benefits. These include profits earned from the trading of properties by one of its funds and the early receipt of fees in lieu of the remainder of the management agreement it has with one of its funds which disposed of properties ahead of schedule.

Warehouse REIT will also deliver its interim results following a positive start to its trading year. The firm managed to achieve double-digit rental growth and strong level of renewals.

Manchester City Council’s planning committee will be asked to approve almost 1,000 new homes across four schemes. Among the developers awaiting green light are Empiric Student Property, Central & Urban, Zephyr X and Views Holdings.

The industry’s biggest names will gather in London for the best party in UK commercial real estate as the EG Awards celebrates two decades of recognising the very best things about the real estate sector.

Friday

The EG Interview will draw on the parallels between the ballroom and the courtroom as well as explore how one’s passion in the field attracts a wider array of talent.
