It is the year that has been hailed as the one to watch in tech.
After two years of unprecedented change, disruption and a forced reliance on tech like we have never seen before, all eyes are on the real estate tech companies and individuals continuing to make waves as the future of work, office and life in general starts to settle into a new pattern.
The pandemic didn’t just speed up tech adoption. It shone a light on what we really want out of our lives and the spaces we operate in. More importantly, it highlighted the issues the industry needs to be addressing beyond nice-to-haves as a matter of urgency. From ESG to tackling wellbeing and nurturing talent, 2022 is the year the real estate sector is turning its attention to the big issues with more commitment than ever before.
This year’s fifth annual EG Tech Awards shortlist reflects that shift. Our judges spent two days debating and deliberating as they whittled down more than 200 entries across 12 categories.
Our shortlisted companies and individuals didn’t just impress the judges with financial prowess and fundraising success stories, they proved they are doing something significant within the built environment to tackle the vital issues it is currently facing.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 6 July at The Brewery, EC1. Stick the date in your diary and join us in person for a celebration worthy of an industry that is proving, year-on-year, that innovation and progress is alive and well. For our global entrants and guests there will also be an option to join remotely.
