Last week, 10 of the great and good from the worlds of technology and real estate debated, deliberated and discussed as they judged more than 90 entries that were put forward for the 2019 EG Tech Awards.
Now in its second year, the event, which will return to The Brewery, EC1, on 10 July, will span 12 categories and will celebrate the best of the best, from those delivering technological solutions to the companies and individuals adopting, supporting and nurturing them.

Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, the 2019 awards look set to be bigger and better, with entries coming in from across the UK and overseas.
Judge and 2018 award-winner Dan Hughes of Alpha Property Insight said: “It is fantastic to see the breadth and depth of entries this year. Not only was the standard really high, but there was also an incredible diversity in both the type of company entering and the specific problems that were being addressed. As a sector, we have spoken about the benefits that technology can bring for a number of years, and it is great to see so much evidence of this now being put into practice.”
Tripty Arya, founder and chief executive of Travtus and a fellow judge, said: “The EG Tech Awards are a great showcase for the new and most innovative ideas in the industry. The entries this year ranged from tech adoption by industry veterans to the refreshing ideas of new players. They truly represent a sample set from an industry preparing and accepting the wave of technological disruption.”
