EG launches second mental health survey

EG has launched its annual mental health survey once more to gather insight into the mental health of property’s workforce.

During a year when the mental health of millions has been tested under unprecedented circumstances, EG is investigating the state of mental wellbeing among the property industry’s workforce.

EG wants to find out whether the sector has made improvements since last year’s survey, which revealed that one in four property professionals have considered suicide.

Of those workers who have experienced suicidal thoughts, 86% said they had not turned to their employer for help or support, and EG is investigating whether the taboo surrounding the subject still remains.

EG is aiming to close the industry’s knowledge gap on the subject and provide information on how businesses can offer support for those who may be struggling to cope.

That’s why we need you.

Please take five minutes to fill out the survey here. It is open to everyone in the real estate sector, regardless of whether you have experienced a mental health issue or not.

The survey will preserve the identities of those who choose to fill it out and all responses are completely anonymous (unless you choose to share your details).
