It is reflective of a healthy market, as well as the vast ambitions and boundary-defying innovations it engenders, that the 2016 Estates Gazette Awards are going to be bigger in every way.
This week EG unveils the 22 awards up for grabs, including new gongs, old favourites that recognise the best advisers and companies in the game, plus some that have had a little makeover.
New awards such as Legal Team of the Year celebrates the law’s contribution to the industry, while Lender of the Year seeks to crown the most active and innovative financiers.
The Creative Spaces Award opens the floor to developers, architects and interior designers, masterplanners and urban planners which have demonstrated the benefits of buildings incorporating a sense of space, well-being and ownership.
And because of the overwhelming response to our Collaborators, Next Big Thing and Rising Stars projects, we have incorporated them into the EG Awards for the first time.
As ever, the categories will be judged by your peers, some of the most recognised and respected names in the industry.
And the EG Awards event will be returning to a much-bigger home this year. The 2016 awards will be held at Grosvenor House, on the new date of 20 September.
Alongside the bigger and better celebrations we will be raising money for some excellent charities.
The awards are now open for entries. See estatesgazette.com/awards for the full criteria and to enter online.
