JLL was the big winner at last night’s Estates Gazette Awards, with British Property Federation chief executive Liz Peace also recognised for her contribution to property over the past decade.
More than 900 guests crammed in to the London Hilton on Park Lane, W1, last night for the sold-out event.
At stake were awards in 17 categories, with the new trophies designed by renowned architect Simon Allford and 3D printed by Hobs Studio.
JLL was named National Property Adviser, Industrial & Distribution Adviser and Offices Adviser of the Year. The firm’s Sophie Walker also picked the Young Property Professional of the Year trophy.
Liz Peace, whose 12 years as chief executive of the British Property Federation comes to an end today, won the Outstanding Contribution to Property Award.
Meanwhile, one of the capital’s highest profile politicians – Boris Johnson’s right hand man, Sir Edward Lister – was given the EG London Award.
Unusually, many of the winners in the developer categories were smaller businesses. Muse Developments was named National Property Company of the Year, with Exemplar winning the offices award and New River Retail also a winner.
