EasyHotel is aiming to more than double in size to 100 hotels by 2026, after a recovery in trading.
The budget hotel chain, in which Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou has a 20% stake, has 42 hotels in 10 countries.
Britain is easyHotel’s biggest market, with 18 franchised hotels and 24 owned or leased. The group was floated in 2014 but in 2020 was taken private and is now 79% owned by Icamap Investments and Ivanhoé Cambridge.
