DTZ stalwart Colin Wilson has been appointed as chief executive of the combined DTZ and Cushman & Wakefield business for the UK and Ireland.
Digby Flower, current UK chief executive of C&W, will become UK chairman of the combined company, reporting to Wilson.
Flower will also be head of London markets.
The appointments were announced to staff at the firms earlier this week.
The company also confirmed that John Forrester, current EMEA chief executive of DTZ, will assume the same role for the combined firm.
Elsewhere in Europe Cushman & Wakefield partners took the top roles but the UK appointments reflect the balance of the two business, with DTZ employing more staff and generating higher revenues in the UK than C&W.
