Dover mall signs up new tenants

St-Jamess-Dover-THUMB.jpegNext and Travelodge are the latest names to sign at the new 120,000 sq ft St James development in Dover, Kent.

Next will take a 16,720 sq ft shop over two storeys, and Travelodge has signed for a 108-bedroom hotel.

Both have signed 10-year leases, at an annual rent of circa £30 per sq ft.

They join the two anchor tenants, Marks & Spencer and Cineworld, and restaurants Frankie & Benny’s and Bella Italia.

Almost two-thirds of the scheme is now prelet.

Prime Retail and JLL are joint letting agents on the retail space; Shelley Sandzer and Stephen Buckle & Co are advising on the restaurant lettings.
