Dominvs appoints former Berkeley director to board

Dominvs Group has appointed Sean Ellis to its board as a non-executive director.

The former executive director of the Berkeley Group will advise the investor and developer on land and planning, strategy, operational efficiency and governance, and forming new joint ventures as the company continues to expand its £2.4bn pipeline across the PBSA, residential, retail and hotels sectors.

Ellis was on the Berkeley board from 2010 to 2021. He has also worked in St James Group, Berkeley Homes Eastern Counties and St William, the former joint venture with National Grid.

Ellis is the third senior non-executive director to be appointed to the Dominvs board, following the appointments of Martin Meech and Martin Samworth earlier this year.

Ellis said: “The rate at which Dominvs is securing sites, forming partnerships and its deal-making capabilities makes it an exciting time to join the board. Dominvs continues to grow its exposure across the living sectors.”

Preet Ahluwalia, principal, Dominvs Group, said: “Sean will work closely with us as we continue to acquire new residential development sites across the country, build upon the success of our existing joint ventures and utilise our track record to form new collaborative partnerships.”
