A house in Folkestone, Kent, in which Charles Dickens wrote part of Little Dorrit in 1855 is being offered at Allsop’s first residential auction of the year on 16 February at the Cumberland Hotel, W1.

The property, which is Grade II listed and comprises two flats, is offered with a guide of £70,000.
