Michael Dibley has left West End retail agency Kenningham Retail to set up on his own.
He has launched Dibley Property, which will focus on working for brands and designers, finding space across central London.
During his time at Kenningham Retail Dibley focused predominantly on Oxford Street and the broader West End, but he is now looking to diversify across central London, including Shoreditch and the City.
Clients include interior designer Tom Dixon, hotelier Z Hotels, Ozone Coffee Roasters and shooting equipment store Farlows in Pall Mall, SW1, which is looking to open another shop in London.
Dibley recently worked with events firm Camm & Hooper to secure a new site, Six Storeys on Soho, at 11 Soho Square, W1, where it signed a 25-year lease.
He said: “The purpose of Dibley Property is to work with a core group of valued, interesting and diverse clients, providing specifically tailored expert advice. I want to keep the client base lean to ensure I am able to provide dedicated support throughout each instruction.”
Dibley was part of the legacy Dalgleish & Co team with Kenningham Retail founder David Kenningham. He joined CBRE as a senior director when it bought Dalgleish & Co in 2005.
He left CBRE to join Kenningham in 2014, a year after it was set up. Mark Serrell also joined from CBRE in 2013.
Dibley added: “The key to my business is collaboration, fully understanding the needs and requirements of each client and enjoying working side by side with them for the duration of each project.”
