A shopping centre put up for auction with a reserve price of £1 will be revamped by its new owner, which wants to keep it as a retail destination.
More than 100 prospective buyers registered their interest before The Postings was sold this month by Columbia Threadneedle Investments, the City fund manager, for £310,000.
The winning bid was from Evergold Property, a developer based in West Yorkshire. Companies House records show Tahir Ali, 32, as its sole director, although he said that he was working with a team with experience in the sector.
