Debate the Scottish economy next week

Question-Time-logo-2015Experts will give the Scottish economy a 2017 health check next week in Glasgow at the new year’s first EG Question Time.

Topics expected to be debated at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre on 12 January from 5.30pm include the government’s planned City Deal for Glasgow as well as the investment uncertainty posed by Brexit and a second independence referendum.

On the panel will be Stephen Lewis, whose company, HFD Group, signed a prelet to Morgan Stanley at 122 Waterloo Street last March, one of the city’s largest occupational deals.

Joining him will be Clare Kemsley, director at Hoskins Architects; Leah Hutcheon, founder of Appointedd, one of Scotland’s most successful start-up companies, and star of BBC Two’s The Entrepreneurs; Paul Curran, chairman of the Scottish Property Federation and managing director of Quartermile Developments; and Bruce Patrick, Savills’ head of commercial and mixed-use development in Scotland.

Delegates will be putting their own questions directly to the panellists.

There is just one week left to secure a free seat.
