Deal Watch: Colliers’ McManus lands five but JLL pips rivals on deal count

In this snapshot of recent property transactions across the UK, we look at the deal data submitted to EG Radius over the past seven days to see which firms and individual agents are driving market activity.

In the individual dealmaker tables, Colin McManus, associate director in Colliers’ Glasgow industrial and logistics team, registered the most deals on EG Radius last week. These included letting Unit 27 at Northpoint, Hillington Park and Unit 5 at New Albion Industrial Estate, both in Glasgow. Northpoint was a five-year lease at £6.99 per sq ft (£23,472 pa) and New Albion was five years at £5.79 per sq ft (£16,692 pa).

However, when measured by total space transacted, Mark Tomlinson, a director at FHP Property Consultants focused on the East Midlands market, was last week’s star performer, contributing 212,993 sq ft, including the sale of the Carlton Forest Distribution Site in Worksop for £7m.

The top contributing agency by number of deals last week was JLL, followed closely by Cushman & Wakefield and Colliers. View the rest of the top 10 in the table below, or use the EG On-Demand Rankings to gain tailored insights into who is shifting space in your locality or sector.
