Colliers International UK chief executive David Izett is leaving the business after nine years.
The departure has been rumoured in the market since Canadian firm FirstService took a majority stake in the firm last October.
Chris McLernon, a non-executive director of the company and EMEA chief executive of Colliers International will take over as interim chief executive.
The departure was revealed in a trading update this morning, which showed that turnover was up by 12% on the previous year.
Izett said: “Colliers International is an excellent firm. The trading update announced today shows that the strategy we adopted at the time of the fundraising last year is starting to show results, despite the continuance of challenging markets.
“Having been CEO for nine years, the time is right to bring in new management who can take the business on through its next stage of development. I want to thank all of my colleagues for the support they have given me during my time with the company.”
