Cushman & Wakefield acquires niche practice Alston Nock

Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) has acquired Coleshill-based niche retail practice Alston Nock.

C&W is expected to finalise the deal to buy the two-man firm – run by Robert Alston and Stephen Nock – later today.

Alston and Nock will join Cushman’s as partners and become part of the 80-strong UK retail team headed by John Strachan.

The pair have been active in the Midlands retail agency market concentrating on in town/out of town retail and shopping centres.

Clients include: Morley, Boultbee Land, Protego, Dunelm and HBOS.

Adrian Hill, chairman of Cushman’s regional offices and international board member, said: “We want to become the leading agent in Birmingham by securing the best talent available.”

He added: “We’re confident that with a dedicated Birmingham office we will be able to leverage our European and global platform. 

“Robert and Stephen will be great assets within our national retail team and will enable us to penetrate the Midlands market and to continue to build on our presence in the region.”
