Cushman & Wakefield is sitting at the top of EG’s leaderboard of the most active agents in the industrial investment market, having acted on £317.5m of transactions in the year to date.
The agent’s largest deal was the sale of the freehold of online retailer Very Group’s 553,235 sq ft logistics hub (pictured) at SEGRO’s East Midlands Gateway near Castle Donington in Leicestershire. Blackbrook Capital purchased the premises from Trenport for £100.5m. The asset, known as Skygate, has a rental income of £4,115,185 per annum, representing a net initial yield of 3.83%.
CBRE is in second place in the rankings, having acted on £239.5m of transactions, followed by Knight Frank on £188m, JLL on £115.3m and BNP Paribas Real Estate on £95m.
