Cushman grows retail leasing talent

Cushman & Wakefield has appointed two leasing experts to its central London retail & leisure team.

Tors Hayward joins the firm from Hanover Green retail, where she advised landlords and occupiers on strategic central London retail and leisure agency opportunities. Prior to this role she was a leasing manager at Hammerson.

At Cushman & Wakefield, Hayward will focus on the team’s retail agency instructions within central London.

Alice Vaughan joins the agent from Quadrant Estates, where she oversaw asset management activities across a UK-wide retail portfolio. Prior to this role she held a speciality leasing position at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield.

Vaughan will work principally on Cushman & Wakefield’s restaurant and leisure instructions, working closely with head of leisure & restaurants Matt Ashman.

Duncan Gilliard, head of London retail at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “Hiring Tors and Alice reinforces our commitment to our prime retail and leisure clients and our investment in talent in this sector. Their skills and experience will enhance our service offering to our client base and I am confident they will both thrive within our collaborative culture.”

“The central and greater London market has long been a strategic focus for Cushman & Wakefield and our agency team is leading the field, transacting nearly three times more square footage than our nearest competitor in the first half of 2024,” added head of retail & leisure Dominic Bouvet.

“This reflects the market-leading talent within Cushman & Wakefield and I’m very excited about the future as we look to grow in strategic areas.”

Cushman & Wakefield is instructed leasing agent on a number of major retail destinations including Westfield Stratford City, Brent Cross, Battersea Power Station, The Crown Estate and Carnaby, Soho and Seven Dials for Shaftesbury Capital.
