CTP appoints Illingworth as joint managing director

Manchester-based developer CTP has appointed Guy Illingworth as joint managing director alongside company founder David Topham.

Illingworth has been a director of the mixed-use specialist since 1998. He previously worked for Taylor Woodrow.

Topham said Illingworth’s promotion is a “natural step” for the company.

He said: “Guy has been leading many of our own schemes for some time now. It makes sense to bolster our management team given our extensive development profile and our strong joint venture relationships.”

CTP’s development portfolio totals 2m sq ft, with an estimated end value of £500m.

Its current projects include Aurora, a 57,000 sq ft speculative office scheme on Manchester’s Princess Street.

It is also involved in mixed-use developments around the UK, including schemes in Lancaster, Chester, Altrincham, Glasgow, Leeds and Chlemsford.
