Kate Bowyer, chief financial officer at the Crown Estate, has decided to leave the business.
Bowyer, who will leave the business later this year, joined the Crown Estate in 2016. She has led the finance team and, until recently, the business technology team. Bowyer was also appointed by Royal Warrant as a board commissioner from 1 January 2017 for a four-year period, playing an active role in the setting and oversight of the strategic direction of the landed estate.
Recruitment for her replacement will begin shortly.
Crown Estate chief executive Dan Labbad said: “As well as overseeing the development and progress of a critical part of the business during her time, Kate has also been an active member of our board and a passionate champion of putting purpose at the heart of how we do things. On behalf of everyone at the Crown Estate, I want to thank Kate and wish her the very best for the future.”
