Crouch End police station set for resi conversion

Maslow Capital has provided a £13m development finance package to fund the conversion of a historic police station in Crouch End, N8, into a residential development. Developer Dixon8 will use the financing to turn Hornsey Police Station into a 29-home scheme. It includes eight affordable homes. Features will include solar energy panels, communal gardens, balconies and a green wall. The developers are aiming for a 100% biodiversity net gain through “thoughtful” landscaping efforts. Kuan Leng, director of Dixon8, said: “Maslow’s support of our project is a significant vote of confidence in our vision. Transforming the iconic Hornsey Police Station will create a new north London community while preserving a piece of local history. “Maslow has been a real value-add to our project. Its understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities facing growing developers like us has been invaluable.
