Compton streaks ahead in EG’s City fringe agent rankings

Compton has taken a sizeable lead over second-placed Savills in EG’s leaderboard of the most active agents in London’s City fringe sub-market as a result of lettings totalling just under 44,000 sq ft this week.

The largest deal was a 33,495 sq ft letting on the second floor of 20 Farringdon Road, EC1 (pictured), which saw online clothing marketplace Depop take the office space on a five-year FRI lease commencing on 30 July from Derwent London at an undisclosed rent.

Compton, which was launched earlier this year by three former Colliers agents, leads the City fringe rankings, having acted on 92,264 sq ft of transactions in the year to date, followed by Savills on 45,105 sq ft and Richard Susskind & Co on 38,116 sq ft. The top five is completed Anton Page on 28,475 sq ft and Pilcher London 26,684 sq ft.

The deal was revealed by the EG Radius On-Demand Rankings, a new tool to provide a snapshot view of the latest commercial property deals and which agents are landing them across the UK.
