Columbia Threadneedle offloads Superdrug’s West Yorkshire hub

Columbia Threadneedle has sold a distribution centre occupied by Superdrug in South Elmsall, West Yorkshire, to Arrow Capital Partners.

The 296,000 sq ft warehouse was acquired from clients of Columbia Threadneedle Investments for more than £17m.

The single-let facility, which serves as a key location for Superdrug’s supply chain servicing the north of the UK, was acquired for Arrow’s strategic industrial real estate joint venture with Cerberus.

Robert Howe, head of real estate for Europe at Arrow, said: “Our focus remains on identifying and acquiring standing investment and development opportunities that offer strong potential for value creation and sustainable returns for our investors”.

Arrow was advised by M1 Agency. The vendor was advised by GV&Co.
