MIPIM: The Co-operative has launched a new package of occupier services for firms interested in taking space at its £800m NOMA scheme in central Manchester.
David Pringle, director of NOMA, said the options available would range from initial support and guidance for start-ups to new build choices for multinationals.
“This is a previously unavailable alternative for occupiers,” he said. “Businesses can benefit from the Co-operative’s buying power and supply chain directed to support occupiers in NOMA, a suite of options for businesses of all shapes and sizes.
“Alternatively, we can work with organisations to design a building that works for them – be it a new build or refurbishment of our listed estate.”
NOMA director of strategy and development Ruairidh Jackson said: “No two businesses are the same and by putting occupiers in control, we are changing the way that property is provided.”
NOMA also unveiled its new i-brochure for Hanover, the building completed in 1904 by the Co-operative Wholesale Society, and about to undergo a refurbishment to offer 100,000 sq ft of office space and 30,000 sq ft of retail space.
The NOMA scheme covers 20 acres of Manchester city centre. The Co-operative will move into its new headquarters on the site, One Angel Square, later this year.
