The owners of celebrity haunt C London, formerly Cipriani London, are set to open a second restaurant in the capital.
The Cipriani family are in talks to open a 10,500 sq ft venue at Criterion Capital’s 145 Knightsbridge, SW1.
They are understood to be paying a £2m premium to take assignment of Chicago Rib Shack’s lease on the building, which has 23 years left.
The rent is £560,000 pa. Cipriani London, a favourite of the Beckhams, had to change its name to C London in February when the family lost a trademark battle with Orient-Express Hotels, owner of the Hotel Cipriani in Venice.
James Andrew International advises Chicago Rib Shack.
