Simon Camamile (pictured above, right), master of the Chartered Surveyors’ Company, took part in a charity abseil challenge held in the City of London on 7 June, accompanied by liverymen Colin Peacock (left), Alison McDonald and David Jinks.
The quartet followed the Lord and Lady Mayoress down the 225m Cheesegrater – 122 Leadenhall Street, EC3 – to help raise money for the Lord Mayor’s Appeal, along with members and staff from 16 other livery companies and a host of City businesses.
This year the appeal is supporting three charities: MQ Mental Health Research, Homewards and National Numeracy.
