Charity and social: Property figures don gloves to fight for young East Enders

Aitch Group has raised more than £145,000 for youth charity Wickers through a white-collar boxing match to support the charity’s cause to combat knife crime and to provide young people living in east London with opportunities to build a positive future.

The event at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms, WC2, saw a line-up of boxing matches between notable property industry figures, including Henry Smith, chief executive of Aitch Group and founder of the Wickers Charity, James Feltham of CBRE and Graeme Grossman of Kingsbury Stone. Live and silent auctions were also held.

Johnny Nelson, presenter of Sky Sports Boxing, was the guest host for the evening, and there were guest appearances by Heather Small, former lead singer of the band M People, and reality TV star James Argent.
