It’s £18,000 not out for Prideview’s cricket tournament
Prideview Group has raised nearly £18,000 for the charity One Kind Act at its annual cricket tournament. This year’s competition between the event’s two most successful teams of all time saw Jade Pharmacy triumph over law firm Axiom DWFM in a T20 match.
Supporting the event were England cricketers Tom Westley, Sajid Mahmood and charity patron Mark Ramprakash.
The money raised at the tournament will help aid the education of children in India, support Indian Covid-19 orphans and help tackle food poverty in the UK.
RICS quizzers raise funds for NHS
RICS Matrics’ property quiz night has raised more than £6,000 for charity. The virtual charity event was organised by Priya Kharbanda (pictured), junior vice chair of RICS Matrics Glasgow and senior surveyor at Cushman & Wakefield, to support charity events that had to be cancelled owing to lockdown restrictions.
More than 50 property professionals took part in the event to support the NHS, while also connecting friends and colleagues who have been working from home.
The money raised from the event was donated to Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity and Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.
