Charity and social: Eddisons walk the Norfolk coast for Sue Ryder

Eddisons’ eastern regional office staff will walk 47 miles of the Norfolk Coast Path in 24 hours to raise £10,000 for Sue Ryder, a charity that provides palliative care for people with life-limiting conditions.

The team were inspired to take up the challenge, taking place on 8 September, by colleague and friend David Park, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2021.

Pursuing excellence in memory of John Miles

As part of a partnership with Reading Real Estate Foundation, the scholarship will be awarded to candidates demonstrating high academic merit and who are committed to pursuing a career in real estate.

Property proffers £700k of professional help

In the past year, 60 property organisations have provided more than £700,000 of professional assistance to disadvantaged families and young people.

Just over £360,000 was generated by a project undertaken by Knight Frank and Paragon, which helped homelessness charity Centrepoint survey 450 accommodation units.

LandAid aims to raise the bar higher by offering £1m in free support by 2024.
