Celestica is closing two plants and cutting support staff at its Stoke-on-Trent offices.
The redundant plants are in Ashton-under-Lyne, Greater Manchester, and Bradwell Wood, Stoke-on-Trent.
The company’s assembly operations will be consolidated in Kidgrove, Stoke-on-Trent.
The hi-tech firm said the decision was the last resort in a difficult trading market.
