CB Richard Ellis has hired a team of pub specialists from Colliers International.
The world’s largest agent has poached Colliers’ three-strong pubs team. They include Siân Tunney, Andrew Watt and Toby Hall. They will all join CBRE’s leisure and alternative investment team.
CBRE has also hired Paul Breen, who left Colliers several months ago, for the team.
David Batchelor, senior director of leisure and investment at CBRE, said: “The new appointment will allow CBRE to offer a full service to our corporate clients, from valuation and strategic review through to investment advisory and individual pub disposal. Sian and Andrew will focus on deepening our relationships with the major pub companies and help develop a nationwide platform for licensed property transactions. Toby and Paul will work with our capital markets teams focusing on the pub market in London and the South East and urban leisure capital markets.
CBRE UK managing director Martin Samworth added: “The team are all very highly regarded and leading professionals in the leisure and hospitality markets. Their appointment will enable us to provide our clients with a vertically integrated leisure and hospitality offer. As a consequence, CBRE will now have one of the largest and most experienced leisure and hospitality businesses in the country, in conjunction with the CBRE Hotels team led by Derek Gammage.”
Tunney, Hall and Breen will work with the London team while Watt will coordinate regional activity from Leeds.
