CBRE names Wyman head of public sector

CBRE has promoted Louise Wyman to head of public sector for the UK.

Wyman joined the agency in 2021 as executive director in the strategic development team. She moved from Manchester City Council, where she was strategic director for growth and development, overseeing the commercial property, housing, planning and regeneration teams.

Before joining the council in June 2020, Wyman was director of strategy and engagement at Homes England and part of the team that established the government’s housing agency in 2018.

Wyman said: “I’m passionate about driving the economic regeneration and development of the UK’s city regions, to create healthy, better connected and inclusive environments, where our diverse communities can thrive.

“After a 20-year career in central, regional and local government, I’m enthused to be leading CBRE’s public sector expertise. We’re focused on creating public-private partnerships that unlock development and investment opportunities, whilst securing progressive placemaking, that revitalises our towns, cities and rural communities for future generations.”
