CB Richard Ellis has appointed a new head of office agency.
Rob Madden, 35, who joined CBRE as director of offices following the agent’s takeover of industrial specialist Holley Blake two years ago, replaces James Brounger.
Brounger is leaving the West End after 21 years to become deputy managing director of the group’s Southampton office.
Based in London, Madden will lead a 10-strong team focusing on the South East. He will also help co-ordinate CBRE’s regional offices in the South East, Bristol, Leeds, Birmingham, Southampton and Manchester.
Madden will be supported by Chris Williams, who has been appointed head of the office tenant representation team.
Keith Dowley, CBRE’s head of agency and development for industrial and offices, said: “The time is right for Rob and Chris to step forward and lead this young, enthusiastic team into a market that is becoming more challenging by the week.”
