Green Street Advisors’ Hemant Kotak has joined CBRE as head of UK research.
Kotak was most recently managing director and co-head of European real estate research at Green Street’s London office.
He had worked at the research and advisory firm since 2008, where he specialised in listed property companies.
Previous roles also include real estate fund of funds analyst and finance manager at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (which merged with BlackRock in 2006), and financial and investment analyst at BT Group.
Kotak will lead CBRE’s UK research team, with responsibility for developing and enhancing its research capabilities and data strategy.
