CBRE has hired Nick Reed as a South West director in its capital markets team.
Reed (pictured above, right) will focus on the continued growth of the build-to-rent sector, working closely with developers and funds across the region. His role will also include exploring opportunities relating to ground rent transactions and income strip opportunities.
Prior to joining CBRE, Reed was the founding partner at 3Realty, a real estate consultancy, before which he operated property business Investment Property Consultants.
Earlier in his career, he worked in partnership with CBRE through his role as director in Hamptons International.
Reed said: “Joining CBRE gives me the opportunity to use my experience in residential capital markets to help grow the team’s offering in the South West, particularly with regards to the BTR/PBSA sector.”
CBRE South West office head Tom Morris (pictured above, left, with Reed) said: “Having Nick onboard will help us support our clients to harness opportunities across the region’s growing BTR market through his specialist expertise.”
