Northern Ireland-based developer Carvill Group has submitted plans for 249 flats at Annadale Embankment in south Belfast.
The £20m scheme will bring to 723 the number of homes planned by Carvill in Belfast. Its six proposed Belfast residential schemes are worth a total of £61m.
Carvill is also seeking permission for 650 homes in Lisburn, where it is part of the consortium behind the 2,000-home Brokerstown Village scheme near Lisburn city centre, around 12 miles from Belfast.
Last year, Carvill sold around 300 homes and expects to achieve at least a similar level of sales this year.
