Carphone poised to buy French shops

Carphone Warehouse is set to buy 46 telephone stores in France from FNAC Telecom for £10m.

The deal will give Carphone Warehouse 650 outlets throughout Europe. More than a quarter of the operation's revenues now comes from outside the UK.
