Carillion named as preferred bidder for £450m hospital scheme

UK construction firm Carillion was this morning announced as the preferred bidder for the £450m redevelopment of Southmead Hospital in Bristol.

Carillion, in a 50-50 joint venture with Bank of Scotland Corporate, will finance
