Canada Life Asset Management appoints new head of UK property

Canada Life Asset Management has appointed Robin James as its new head of UK property,. James joins Canada Life Asset Management from LaSalle Investment Management where he was head of transactions UK and Ireland. He succeeds Michael White, who retired from Canada Life Asset Management in December. Canada Life Asset Management managing director David Marchant said James’s expertise and proven track record would be “instrumental in strengthening” the firm’s UK property portfolio. James added: “This is an exciting opportunity to build on the firm’s strong foundation in the UK real estate market and drive further growth. I look forward to working with the talented team to deliver value and future-focused, resilient solutions for our clients, as well as capitalising on opportunities in the real estate sector.”
