British Land signs Cult for Hull shopping centre

 

British Land has signed up retail group Supergroup’s brand Cult to St Stephen’s, its £200m shopping centre in Hull.

 

Cult will open a 9,300 sq ft shop, which will trade over two floors. It will stock the full range of Cult clothing and a number of ranges from Superdry, Cult’s sister brand.

 

Julian Dunkerton, founder and CEO of Supergroup, said: “We are very excited about opening a Cult flagship in Hull. The city is a perfect fit for our brand and St Stephen’s will provide us with very high footfall from Cult’s typical customers.”

 

Other recent lettings at St Stephen’s include a 19,200 sq ft Argos store, 4,000 sq ft shop for The Entertainer, a 3,200 sq ft Model Zone store, a 2,700 sq ft Burger King restaurant, a 1,200 sq ft Love Coffee and The Hairdresser has taken two shops totalling 1,800 sq ft to create a double-height salon.

 

Fit24 is also opening a 15,700 sq ft 24-hour gym on April 1.

“These latest brands all make a significant contribution to St Stephen’s offer, which continues to attract growing numbers of shoppers from across the region.
