Bristol resi scheme gets go-ahead

Places for People has been granted planning permission for a 358-home mixed-use scheme in Bristol.

The developer plans to redevelop 4.25 acres in Dove Lane, St Pauls, to provide five blocks ranging from four to 10 storeys and 7,200 sq ft of commercial space.

Places for People’s proposal includes 55 car parking spaces and 584 cycle spaces.

Of the 358 one-to-three-bedroom homes, 20% will be affordable, 54 will be available for social rent and 18 will be discounted to first-time buyers.

The scheme was designed by Glenn Howells Architects and Savills acted as the application’s planning consultant.
