Construction starts on London offices have reached their highest level on record, according to the latest Deloitte Real Estate Crane Survey. In the year to 31 March, 51 new starts were logged. Midtown has seen the greatest increase in development, with activity up by 58% in the past six months, due predominantly to the 843,000 sq ft Goldman Sachs scheme at 70 Farringdon Street, EC4.
