BNP Paribas RE makes Pedrick-Moyle redundant

Following an internal corporate review, Ann Pedrick-Moyle has been made redundant from BNP Paribas Real Estate’s Birmingham office.

Pedrick-Moyle was an associate director in the firm’s Birmingham agency team, concentrating on the office acquisitions market.

She had been with the firm for a number of years in its different incarnations – Weatherall Green & Smith, Fuller Peiser and latterly Atisreal – before it merged with BNP Paribas in 2006.

A statement from BNP RE confirmed that it had made one associate director in its Birmingham agency team redundant following a consultation period.

Paul Rixon, Birmingham office chief, added: “The Birmingham office, where we employ a total of 96 staff, is BNP Paribas Real Estate’s largest office outside London and, despite the challenging market conditions, one of our most profitable. As a market leader within the Midlands region, our strategy is to continue to grow while ensuring that all parts of our business are profitable.

“Delivering a good level of profit has required us to actively manage the areas of our business which are underperforming.”
