Sama Investment Group has received planning approval for a 301-bed student accommodation scheme in Birmingham’s Chinese Quarter.
Birmingham City Council unanimously approved the application after a previous deferral over the uncertainty of student demand in the city.
The approved scheme will comprise a stepped building of four, 10 and 15 storeys on Pershore Street.
The development will be car-free, with 64 cycle parking spaces, and include a social lounge, TV room, gym and workspaces.
