Bidwells has strengthened its project management team, with Chris Clover rejoining the consultancy as a partner.
Clover worked at Bidwells for six-and-a-half years until 2022 when he left for Fulkers Bailey Russell. Following his return, he will focus primarily on servicing new and existing clients in the education, science and technology, defence and aerospace industries.
Clover has a background in delivering complex construction projects ranging up to £50m. Some of the previous projects Clover has worked on include: the National Collections Centre at the Science Museum in Swindon; Epic System’s technology campus masterplan in Long Ashton, Bristol; Shinfield Studios in Reading; chemistry teaching labs at the University of Oxford; Boeing’s office relocation to Bristol; and the Quad Two building at Harwell Campus in Oxford.
Richard Todd, head of built environment at Bidwells, said: “We look to expand the scope and remit of our business by focusing on the growth opportunities offered by the built environment’s most high-potential sectors.
“Chris has expertise in this regard, having already worked on projects across a variety of sectors and regions. His knowledge and leadership in project management, combined with his understanding of sectors such as science and technology, aerospace, and defence, will be invaluable as the team bolsters its service offering.”
The move comes amid a spate of new hires at Bidwells as it plans to double the size of the business by 2030. Earlier this month, the firm hired Jo Hawkings as a partner in its investment and property management team.
