Forty-two members of the British Council for Offices have donated more than £24,000 to Francis House Children’s Hospice in Manchester.
They raised the money by completing a 230-mile sponsored cycle ride.
The cyclists, drawn from all sectors of the property industry, rode from London King’s Cross to Manchester Town Hall before taking part in the BCO conference in May.
James Wates, chairman of the 2012 BCO conference, said: “We wanted to support a local charity as a way of saying thank you to Manchester for hosting this year’s conference.”
