ITV newsreader Tom Bradby has withdrawn an application to extend his home in Hampshire until a survey is carried out on the presence of bats at the property.
Bradby had submitted plans for a two-storey extension, among other work. However, a specialist ecological surveying company misread the plans.
The report cannot now be carried out until May.
