Bass reviews 1,029 pubs

Bass has put 1,029 unbranded pubs under strategic review.

Its managed estate could fetch £500m-£700m. The company says it has firepower of £3-£4bn to spend on acquisitions.

Bass would not comment on speculation that it has made a joint bid
