Barratt Redrow’s chief executive Matthew Pratt will be stepping down from the board and his position on 30 June.
The housebuilder has also announced that Mike Roberts, currently regional managing director of Barratt Redrow’s Northern Region, has been appointed as chief operating officer-designate and member of the Barratt Redrow executive committee.
Roberts will become chief operating officer on 6 September, following the retirement of chief operating officer and deputy chief executive Steven Boyes.
With Pratt and Boyes stepping down, the executive directors on the board will be chief executive David Thomas and chief finance officer Mike Scott.
Thomas (pictured), said: “Following a successful 22-year career at Redrow, including five years as chief executive prior to the combination, Matthew has had a key role in the smooth and effective integration of Barratt and Redrow. I would like to thank him for his valuable contribution to the combined business.
“I am pleased Mike Roberts has been promoted to the role of chief operating officer and will join our executive committee. After more than 20 years in multiple senior roles in Barratt, Mike has a comprehensive understanding of what Barratt Redrow needs to do to continue to be the UK’s leading homebuilder and deliver for all our stakeholders.”
